Crochet was not my first love, but I have returned to it after many years. It is a useful craft in as much as it can be picked up and put down with the minimum of disruption, and I have needed that during the past several months. I was recently inspired to crochet a blanket inspired by sunflowers. Although the colours and sequence are my own choice the stitch is not mine – I was pointed to it by a friend on Instagram, and this is a useful video about the technique.
