Heavy felting

This must be the quickest and easiest form of felting. I used the sewing machine as it was up and ready, but quick hand stitches would work too.  Pure wool yarn (not yarn that is suitable for machine washing) was cut into lengths and sandwiched between water soluble fabric. I used about 3 layers and…

I must be a stitcher at heart

Another crocheted blanket is almost finished. I have only been able to spend a limited time on this each day – in fact – some days it has had to lie quiet – taking second place to accounts! Yes, the end of the financial year always brings those joys with it! Last night I hooked…

I haven’t been idling

The lack of posts doesn’t mean that I have been lying in bed with the covers over my head. It means that turning on the computer is a chore I can’t face! It’s easy to post some things via email or the app, but a post with more than a few words really needs the…

There’s more to a nine patch than counting to nine!

Almost a month…

No apologies for the lack of post – LIFE must come first, and it has continued to do so. Daily creativity has continued, the nine patches are almost up to date (today’s is still drying and will be published before nightfall) and the crochet has taken on a life of its own. I’m finding that…
