The first Be Creative Now Weekend, which took place in January 2014 and was an outstanding success. I expected half a dozen, but almost 100 people took part, and it has now become a regular event with more and more people joining. Our current total is over 1000, and there is always a waiting list. We don’t allow advertising or selling – definitely no blatant self-promotion of any sort, so it’s all about supportive creativity. The next weekend, as mentioned above, will be happen later this year, and the best bit is that you will have no need to leave home! Just devote 15 minutes (minimum) to doing something. Anything creative is valid, but if you need a prompt to get you going there will be a few published throughout the organised events here. Please remember that these are just starting prompts, how you use them is up to you. Post a picture of what you do on your blog or on Facebook. Please link back to this blog if a blog is where you put your pictures, so that we can come and visit. All standards are welcome – as are disciplines as varied as quilting, cooking, photography, writing, sculpture and more. If you crelaate – you qualify.
In June 2015 the group was renamed ‘Be Creatively’ and now has its own blog. It suits our ideals much better.
