Fibres can make a fabric very easily. Silk, cotton, bamboo, viscose…… Those shown below are a blend of viscose and bamboo.


The background was made using the embellisher, one of my favourite tools! Some of the yarns are loosely twisted fibres, stitched, then further embellished, others left  ‘proud’ on the surface.

    I love playing on my embellisher. Trouble is, I’m better at breaking needles than making fabric!

      It either means you need to change your technique or that you are being wonderfully experimental. I’m sure it’s the latter. 😀
