Be Creative – February – Prompt 21

Well, here we are at the final prompt for this creative weekend. Once again you have all amazed me – thank you for joining in, I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.

Firstly, time to take stock. Did you enjoy it? Did you accomplish all you hoped? Did you stay on the sidelines? Many of you followed the prompts, why not put everything together and take a photograph of what you have done? The timings of the prompts were different – was this easier to handle? Let me know – there is a contact form below for any observations that you would like to make, they will all be considered for the next event which will take place in March. Will you join in?

Now for the final prompt! Return to Prompt 17. There are two empty sections – fill one with stripes and the other with a shape of your choosing. Think about how you could use the resulting patterns in a finished piece of work. No need to do it – but write down any thoughts you have.

Thanks for a very creative weekend, everyone, here’s the comment form, or, of course, you can comment below in the usual manner.

Thank you once again Myfanwy , have thoroughly enjoyed this weekend, for me the timing of prompts was fine, I only managed a few but plenty of food for thought that will resonate forwards. Perhaps I was more comfortable with less sewing but I wouldnt rule out not getting back in to sewing in future and others are happier with sewing. The main benefit for me has been focus, something I struggle with. and allowing myself time to play. thanks again. x

Thanks Carol, good to have feedback. Glad you enjoyed it – I had fun too. I’ll see what I can come up with for next month……. 🙂

  2. I really enjoyed it! Even though I didn’t get a chance to do something for every prompt it sparked ideas that I have recorded in my notebook to develop at another time.

This being the first time I got involved, I’m unsure of how different timings might suit. These seemed fine to me as there’s no pressure to do every single prompt so I could miss bits out when I didn’t have time to craft or had my hands full with a small squirmy child!

I liked the variety of crafts that were suggested.

Thanks for all your hard work in creating the prompts, looking forward to the March event already!

Great! It was fun, wasn’t it, well, I enjoyed it 😉 I feel that the important thing is to DO SOMETHING! That means just do whatever takes your fancy – and I know that everything works because they are prompts I’ve been using for ages. Thanks for being part of it. Don’t forget – you can post pictures of anything you do during the next weeks, the group stays open all the time.
