I like the classic idea of art as a gift to the world, but I think this is changing by the capitalistic society we live in. Take for example platforms as kickstarter, on which the world gives gifts (in the form of money) to decide which piece of art and who’s creativity is welcome and valued in this world…

Amen to that! Currently sitting in Changi airport amd feeling like I will never eat a fast food meal ever again in my life. Ever. Im dying for some fresh fruit and veggies!!! Get me to a kitchen!!

We just have to make sure that as individuals we appreciate creativity and value it, not only in others but also in ourselves. Thanks for commenting.
